For Creators
Campaign statuses explained
1The seven statuses
- draft — the business is still building it. Not visible to creators.
- active — live and accepting applications and conversions.
- paused — temporarily on hold. Depending on the pause mode, existing work may continue even though new applications stop.
- paused_budget — the budget ran out. Existing approved work stays payable (money already held), but nothing new starts.
- completed — finished normally. Tracking ends.
- cancelled — stopped by the business. Attribution stops.
- closed — fully wound down. Attribution stops.
2Which ones keep earning
A tracked sale only counts while the campaign is live: active, or paused_budget (where the money for approved work is already held). If a campaign is cancelled, completed or closed, its tracking links stop attributing sales — clicks still resolve, but they no longer create earnings. A paused campaign with pause mode "new applications" keeps existing links live by design.
3What it means for your applications
- Applying: only active campaigns accept new applications.
- Delivering: keep delivering if your job was already approved — a budget pause doesn't claw back work you were approved for.
- Waiting: if a campaign pauses right after you apply, your application stays queued for when it resumes.

4Frequently asked questions
Do I still get paid if a campaign is paused for budget?
Yes. paused_budget means the budget ran out, but approved work stays payable because the money is already held.
Which campaign statuses accept new applications?
Only active campaigns accept new applications.
Do tracking links keep earning on a closed campaign?
No. Cancelled, completed and closed campaigns stop attribution entirely, so their links no longer create earnings.
